Mission

What is our primary mission

Kinshasa Reformed Baptist Church is a mission oriented Church.  We want to glorify God in promoting his joyful worship by evangelizing sinners, establishing churches, and ministering holistically to the saints, (Matthew 9: 37-38 & 28:19-20).

How do we promote God's joyful evangelism

Our evangelism approach includes street, door to door, pastoral visitation, public as well as preaching points. During this primary activity, we share the word of God faithfully according to our Reformed Baptist Doctrines. People have been misled by false prophecies, miracles and prosperity gospels to the point that many are now disappointed and looking forward sounding churches. Our Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 29: 19-20 commissioned the church to make disciples by teaching them to observe God's commandments. â€‹

How do we establish churches

After the work  of evangelism, our strategy is to set preaching points in different places we have reached with the evangelism. The ministry in charge of evangelism on weekly basis follows up, new souls won after evangelism in a specific place, which becomes la new church planting opportunity in the future.

Once the church has a trained church planter (missionary) he is sent out to one of these preaching points to establish a church.  This missionary pastor has the mission of discipling these new souls and establishing a permanent membership. In addition to that, he establishes leadership for the new church including "Elders and Deacons" and leaders for different ministries within the church prior of terminating his mission. Once this mission is done, the missionary pastor may decide to become a resident pastor if he is elected by the congregation. In this case, he will be under care and the discipline of the church. However, if he is not chosen by the church to become a resident pastor or if he doesn't feel a call to become a resident pastor, then he will return back to the sending church so that he may be used to plant another church in a different preaching point, or any other targeted place he may chose.

How do we minister to the saints

A church has the mandate of taking care holistically to the souls that Christ has purchased by His blood and that it will be accountable to. Therefore, the church is in charge of teaching these souls to observe God's commandments (Matthew 25:35-36) and maintain their sanctification with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. In this sense, the church had the responsibility of observing the purity and therefore disciplining any member who is stubbornly compromising God's work. All of us as a congregation, are to be submissive to God's commandments.

You can make a change in the life God's children and give them hope by supporting our Church in prayers and much more by any other contribution, according to your good will.
